การ Upgrade MySQL จาก 4.1.x/5.0.x เป็น 5.1.30

ตอนนี้แนะนำให้ใช้ MySQL 5.1.37 percona (XtraDB)  ครับ

กำลังจะเปลี่ยนมาใช้ตัวนี้เหมือนกันครับ

ผมเทียบให้ดูว่าถ้ามีแรมมากแล้ว ใช้ให้คุ้มแบบสุดๆเลยครับ

... เหมือนกันครับ        แต่ถ้าเป็น CentOS ตอน set ระบบทำใน GUI Mode ก่อน พอตอนใช้งานจริงก็สั่งให้ run ใน Text Mode ก็ได้ ครับ    ตั้งค่าที่ inittab (ใน etc)  เปลี่ยนค่า default  จาก 5 เป็น 3 ครับ พอสั่ง restart ก็จะทำงานใน Text Mode 
    ถ้าอยู่ใน  Text Mode  ต้องการเข้าใช้  GUI Mode ก็สั่ง init 5 ....



... ตอนนี้ใช้ CentOS4.8 + MySQL5.1.37percona(rhel4) เปลี่ยนจาก CentOS5.3 + MySQL5.1.37percona(rhel5) เมื่อคืนวันอาทิตย์นี้เองครับ  (แต่เดิมก็ใช้ CentOS 4.7 อยู่ แต่พอเพิ่ม RAM Server หลักอีกแถว จาก  2 GB เป็น 4 GB เกิด run ไม่ได้ ติดตั้ง 4.7 ใหม่ก็ไม่ได้  เลยต้องใช้ 5.3  พอมี 4.8 ทดสอบแล้วใช้ได้ก็เลยเลือกใช้ 4.8 เลย)

   มีเรื่องน่าแปลกใจที่ไม่เคยสังเกตุมาก่อนคือ  ตอนสำรองข้อมูลจาก  CentOS4.8 + MySQL5.1.37percona(rhel4)  ดึงข้อมูลจาก server ได้เร็วกว่าตอนที่เป็น   CentOS5.3 + MySQL5.1.37percona(rhel5) มากเลยครับ(ทั้ง 2 ระบบใช้ my.cnf ตัวเดียวกัน  run ใน Text Mode เหมือนกัน)

   จากเดิมใช้เวลานำเข้าข้อมูล จนครบก่อน Compress ประมาณ 50 กว่านาที(ไม่รวมตอนบีบข้อมูล)  พอใช้ CentOS4.8 + MySQL5.1.37percona(rhel4) เหลือเวลาที่นำข้อมูลมาจาก server แค่ 15-16 นาทีเอง (ข้อมูลที่สำรองที่ Compress แล้วประมาณ 420 MB)      ซึ่งระบบสำรองข้อมูลแบบรายวัน(ฺBackup Schedule)  ก็ให้ผลเหมือนกัน

   ไม่รู้มีใครทดสอบแล้วเป็นเหมือนกันบ้างหรือเปล่า  ..  ...

    ก็เลยอยากถาม ว่า ถ้าอัพ ควรอัพแบบใดถึงจะดีครับ กระทบน้อย ครับ อ.Khuad ครับ

พี่ครับพอดีผมกำลังได้ SIS for Health มาครับ แล้วไม่รู้เรื่อง linux เลยอะครับ ที่นี่มีแต่ centOS กับอย่างอื่นอะครับ คุยกับมันก้อไม่รู้เรื่องอะครับ ตอนนี้อยากจะอัพเวอร์ชันของ msql ครับ ที่ติดมากับ SIS for Health รู้สึกว่าจะ 5.0.32 นะครับ เห็นเค้าบอกว่าจะให้ดีมันต้องเป็นเวอร์ชัน 5.1.xx ขึ้นไป ผมไม่รู้จะทำยังไงครับ
ขอวิธีสอนอย่างละเอียดเลยนะครับเผื่อจะทำให้ผมไถนาเป็นครับ

2.เรื่อง firewall +selinux ปิดยังครับ
มีปัญหาก็ ส่งข้อความมาเลยครับ
