# yum install -y lm_sensors
# sensors-detect
hit [enter] through all questions, defaults are often fine
Then see the output line at the end of the sensors-detect command that reads:
"To load everything that is needed, add this to some /etc/rc* file:
#----cut here----"
Copy the commands that follow to the end point which is a second "#----cut here----" line, paste the commands back to console and then run:
# sensors
and you should have, if your motherboard and linux likes each other, values such as fan speeds, temperatures and voltage readings.
